We have over 50 years collective experience in fundraising, non-profit operations & management, Constituent Relationship Management systems, as well as prospect research and development.
We have worked at or with small, medium and large non-profit organizations in the arts, youth development, social justice, human services, community development, international development, environment, conservation and climate change.

Charity Jovanovic

Charity is the co-founder of Heart in the Cloud, an innovative consultancy dedicated to bringing a human-centered approach to the science of fundraising. Since launching the firm in 2020, Charity has worked with more than a dozen diverse clients, from small local nonprofits to large national organizations, spanning causes such as education, conservation, homelessness, and international development. Her expertise in prospect research and donor analysis has helped her clients identify more than $250 million in additional revenue and secure $100 million in transformational gifts.
Before Heart in the Cloud, Charity spent nearly 20 years in nonprofit fundraising, including 15 years leading high-performing prospect development teams. Notably, as Vice President of Prospect Development at City Year, she established the organization’s prospect research function and major giving society, launched a national annual giving program, and drove two enterprise-wide digital transformations to elevate City Year’s tech capabilities.
Charity holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Florida. She is Pro-Sci Certified in Change Management, a certified SCRUM Master, and fluent in multiple languages.
Katie Brosseau

Katie is Director of Advancement with the One Love Foundation. Prior, she helped Charity lead Prospect Development at City Year, where she helped to build and launch fundraising initiatives in prospect research and major gifts. In her time helping to lead the major gifts program, individual giving increased by 11% and doubled the number of $10,000+ individuals and family foundation donors.
She also coached local executive leadership and development teams on moves management and fundraising best practices.
Katie graduated Cum Laude from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She holds an MPA with a certificate in nonprofit management from Villanova University.
